Mr Double Down Presents The Feed The Family Mix

Welcome back for another mid-week dose of funk and soul! This time round I've put together a fingerlickin' food themed mini-mix for you. This should hopefully give you that helpful shove closer towards the end of the week!

I'm really looking forward to this Saturday, as not only does it signal the return of our regular monthly night at The Brown Sugar Bar, But also the arrival of our first guest, Dj Blueprint. He should have already landed in the country by now and has no doubt already cleaned out all my favourite 'digging' spots in London!

Back to today's offering, and there's a nicely rounded selection of funk, soul and R&B 45's thrown into the 'mixing bowl' for you. Some long time favourites and a couple of new acquisitions as well for good measure. If you're still hungry for more, head on over to FuFu Stew (A Hook And Sling favourite!) as Vincent The Soul Chef always has more than enough of the good stuff to go round for everyone.

Both Vincent and The legendary Dj Prestige from Flea market Funk are currently in the process of putting together guest mixes for us, Both should be up on the site some time in the very near future.
